The PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation SC has participated in the Gray Court/Owings Pioneer Days since 2003. This event took place in Owings until this year when it was moved to downtown Gray Court to the Culbertson Back Country Settlement. Our tribal members have walked in the parade and carried the flags since the inception of this event. We have sold our handmade crafts and in the past, we painted faces with Indian designs.
