Enrollment Information: To become an enrolled member of the PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation SC, you must fill out an application and pay a $10.00 application fee, include a family tree showing where the Cherokee Indian is in your family or you must be connected to a core member by blood, and include a long-form birth certificate with parents' names. You must contribute to the well-being and perpetuation of the tribe by making handmade crafts for our craft shop, volunteering your time; and (beginning January 2010) all members, 18 years and older must donate $15.00 a year to help with bills and maintenance.If you are a non-Indian spouse of a tribal member or the stepchildren of a tribal member, you may apply for an Associate Membership.
