Wanda Sky Longhair Murray, a tribal member and an artist on the SC Arts Commission Roster of Approved Artists, brought home several awards from the Art Show at the 2nd Bi-Annual Native American Affairs State Conference in Columbia, South Carolina on November 5th - 7th, 2009. Sky won 2nd Place for her leather and beaded boots and 4 Honorable Mention Ribbons for other crafts.
